KDMC’s Emergency Department is on duty around the clock and year-round for Brookhaven and the surrounding communities. Our Emergency Room and critical care specialists provide efficient, high-quality care for all ages and types of emergencies – from cuts and high fevers to serious injuries and cardiac events. We use the newest technologies to help speed intake, diagnosis, and treatment, such as wireless bedside registration, electronic medical records, and digital radiology, including our CT scanner. Should it be necessary to transport a patient to a larger tertiary-care center, KDMC is one of the few hospitals in Mississippi with its own ambulance service and a heliport pad available for air-ambulance services if needed.
