About John David

Dr. David Richardson is a board-certified psychiatrist who has practiced since 1992 in Jackson, Mississippi. In 2018, he moved back to his hometown to help start KDMC Behavioral Wellness. He works with adults, including geriatric patients. Most of his practice involves issues relating to addiction, depression and anxiety. He has a strong interest in helping people with eating disorders and victims of abuse. As a psychiatrist, he can prescribe medication, and medication management is part of his practice. He has extensive experience with individual therapy, group therapy and intensive outpatient programs.
