Tim Cunningham

Physical Therapist, Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy

Tim joined the team at KDMC Therapy Center in July 2011 as a licensed Physical Therapist. He received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Tim holds a certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), a reliable assessment used to evaluate not only low back and neck pain but also pain in the extremities. It uses that information in diagnosing and treating your symptoms. Additionally, Tim holds a certification in Functional Capacity Evaluation (ErgoScience) for occupational testing and has received training in manual therapy techniques from Upstream Rehab Institute.

With over two decades of experience, the biggest thrill for Tim is “having the ability to come back to Lincoln County and serve the people I live with and have grown up with. It’s one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.”

When not treating patients, Tim said, “Family is important to me, so I stay busy enjoying life with my wife and two sons. I have been fortunate enough to be able to represent the Lincoln County School Board, serving as District 5 Representative.” Other activities include coaching local recreational/travel baseball teams, running, and hunting.
