Easing Your Mind About Cancer Screening
Colorectal cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the United States, according to the National Cancer Institute. It’s also the third deadliest. KDMC is dedicated to increasing community awareness of colorectal cancer. We encourage screenings in the Willing Hearts Circle Endoscopy Suites.
The two suites are equipped with advanced endoscopic technology to perform colonoscopies and endoscopies.
A colonoscopy is a routine, nonsurgical procedure for examining the lower digestive tract. It can identify and remove benign and cancerous polyps.
Endoscopy is also a nonsurgical procedure. Using an endoscope, a flexible tube with a light and camera attached to it, your doctor can view pictures of your digestive tract.
For your comfort, we have private preparation and recovery rooms. Our caring and professional staff are here to ease your mind.
